Fund raising jigsaw puzzles are utilized by different organizations, in different ways, with the goal of raising money for any number of causes or reasons.
Churches frequently raise money to build a new church wing for parrish expansion, or in some cases, a new church all together.
Towns have fund raisers to help pay for new Police Cars, Ambulances and Fire Trucks. Usually a picture of the Vehicle that is the target of the fund raiser, and on the back of each piece that is sponsored, is the name of the person, family or business that sponsored that piece.
Schools have fund raisers for class trips, Sports uniforms, theater Productions, and high school marching band trips to various College Bowl Games, and Project Safe Graduation!
High School Graduates use a fund raiser puzzle to help raise money for freshman year at college. A 100 piece puzzle that costs $275, can generate a profit of $2,225 if all 100 pieces are sold to family and friends, and local residents, and businesses in the community for $25 each. An achievable goal that can really give a young person some significant money for books, food, and general expenses when entering into college. It is also a good exercise for the student in selling, and marketing themselves. Depending on how creative the student is, they could use an image of themself on the puzzle front, or get even more creative with the use of a staged photo of what ever kind of message they wish to visually express to their sponsors.
Political Fund Raisers - A picture of the candidate, or a picture of the building they are campaigning to gain office to, is used. Supporters sponsor jigsaw puzzle pieces for set amounts of money, raising the funding needed to help pay for advertising and marketing of their political candidate's campaign for office.
